Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The holidays started off with Virginia's preschool class participating in the Wolfeboro Christmas parade. She was pretty excited to see Santa even if the winds were going to blow us away. Once again we braved the cold and found our Christmas tree with Ali and Jimmy... we didn't trudge through the wildness to find our tree this year, but spent a little more and found beautiful trees at a tree farm (hot cider included - definitely didn't rough it!) We had wonderful visits from Aunt Lizzy, Aunt Christine and Grandma Rae Rae the month of December. Aunt Christine got to see Virginia perform in the Christmas pageant as a singing angel and Grandma Rae Rae was here for Christmas. Henry surprised us all and rolled over from his back to tummy on Christmas Eve. Every time he rolls over he has the biggest smile and is just so proud (as are we!) Jennifer and Jeremy's pond has been a big hit over Christmas break since the ice has frozen and Virginia has been learning to skate. All kinds of winter sports to do now that we have snow! Finally, Henry ate his first rice cereal today... he will be 5 months in 3 days and seemed to really like it. He is growing up too fast!!

Fall 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! It has been a while since my last post, but with 2 little ones around the house time is precious (and naps are few!)

In September, Virginia started school and all her activities such as dance, sporty shorties and Kindermusik. She loves her class and has been learning things from bats and owls to the pilgrims and the Mayflower. Her favorite job at school is to be the "weather helper" where she gets to look outside and decide if the weather is sunny or cloudy, etc. She has been writing her name (a couple of letters need some more work) and making a new craft project every day at school. Taylor and I are trying to find places to store her artwork... I just can't bear to throw it out. She loves to play at home with her dolls and stuffed animals, play dress up, and "lady pirates" with the girls next door on the playground in the backyard.

Henry has been growing like a weed and developing new skills every day. I can hardly remember the newborn anymore! He is a calm baby and loves to watch everything and everyone... Virginia is his favorite subject. He has been holding his head up on his own, smiling, laughing, cooing and "talking." Just yesterday on Thanksgiving he rolled over for the first time from his tummy to back! He is a great baby and the best part is that he loves to snuggle with Mom... Dad too! Enjoy the pictures from the last 3 months!

Henry's first bath, always so calm... loves the water - 4 1/2 weeks

Outer Banks 2009

We had a great vacation with the McClintics once again. Henry loved the beach for the first time and as always Virginia had a fantastic time with Ella. I think their favorite part was sharing a room and staying up very late giggling.
