Boy oh Boy, Henry Peter has arrived!

Now that Henry is almost 2 months I thought I should probably post a few pictures. Sorry for my long hiatus!
Henry Peter Hudson was born on August 6, 2009 at 7:05 PM. He weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured 22 inches long. He is a great baby and in the last few weeks has been focusing on our faces and toys, started to smile, hold his head, and watch his big sister be silly. Virginia is a wonderful big sister and loves him so much. We are very blessed to have such wonderful, beautiful children.

Just the 3 of us

Still no baby yet, but Virginia has been having lots of fun lately. Here is our last day of Sunday school... making puppets. Taylor and I taught the preschool class for the entire year and they were a lot of fun... Virginia really enjoyed the class had fun at Vacation Bible School last week and is excited and ready for Preschool in the fall.

Virginia and Healy at the Yum Yum Shop. Eating the gingerbread men!

Virginia and Curtis at the playground.

Virginia and Charlotte making chocolate chip cookies at home. Lots of fun with her friends this summer!

Enjoying the 4th of July parade in Wolfeboro

An afternoon at Moody beach with Bob and Bev

Raspberry and strawberry picking with Grandma and Granddad

We were once again a team in the glow-in-the-dark wiffle ball tournament and here is a picture of the Dads and their kids. RJ and Nicole came up for the tournament and we had a great time while they were up. The 3 year olds went home at 9 PM, but the rest of the team played until 1 AM. They didn't win the tournament, but had a fun time while trying. Taylor needed a few Advil in the morning!

Virginia and her pregnant belly. She is ready to help!

Is it summer yet?

Virginia giving Mommy an ultrasound... Virginia is still convinced that it is a girl and now we should name her Princess Aurora dark pink... quite a name.

Helping Daddy... do you like the goggles?

Storyland! Virginia could go on almost all the rides this year... she especially loved the ones that spun around. Taylor was a great sport to go on all those rides with her since I couldn't do it this year.

We love Piglet!

I am not sure where 2 months went again, but it has been a busy few months. Near the end of March, we headed down to Disney World with the McClintics and enjoyed a week of warm weather, good friends and seeing smiles every day from our little girls. Virginia and Ella LOVED SeaWorld and Disney. To this day, Virginia yells for "Shamu" and puts on dolphin shows for us. She is usually the pink princess and is swimming with the dolphins... mainly while jumping on the bed.

For 2 days we braved the crowds at Disney... Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom were really quite fun, but as Taylor put it "I have never seen so many people in my life!" We saw a couple of shows in Animal Kingdom... Finding Nemo was Virginia's favorite... she still sings "Just keep swimming," but will add different words depending on what she is doing at the time... such as "Just keep brushing or Just keep eating." At Magic Kingdom, Pooh and Piglet were the highlights of the day although the princesses were a very close second. The girls saw and did so much that day that by the time we left Disney, Virginia was passed out in her stroller! We then headed to Sand Key for a few days to recover on the beach. Virginia misses "Ella Bella" and can't wait to see her again.

Shortly after arriving back to the cold NH weather, Virginia and Taylor went to their first Father Daughter Dance. They had a great time, but Virginia wanted to dance "by myself Daddy!" most of the time. Taylor got a few dances in with his little girl and it was a really sweet night for the both of them.

Now that the weather has warmed up a bit, Virginia has started Sporty Shorties put on by the Parks and Rec department. They are learning the basics of team sports, but so far I think the best part has been that Virginia has learned to stand in a line, wait her turn and cheer for the other kids. Her favorite activities have been playing with the parachute and red light/green light. She isn't quite as interested in t-ball or kick ball... sometimes I watch her in the field lying down and picking at the grass. Oh well, I never felt like I really liked playing in the outfield too.

Yesterday, Taylor celebrated his 32nd birthday on Memorial Day. Our annual picnic landed on the same day, so Taylor had 98 people sing him "Happy Birthday." We all had a great time and the playground was a huge hit. I didn't know so many kids could fit on it! The last picture is of Virginia trying to do dizzy izzy... it was a funny sight!

I am still feeling really good... only 8 more weeks left. Virginia has finally seen my belly moving around from the baby. She loves to give "her" (it could be either) burps which really gets the baby kicking. She is getting more and more excited to be a "big sister" and we are trying to remember how little sleep we will get with an infant again!
