Virginia on the move!

This video was taken about a week ago. All Virginia wants to do is walk! She is walking all over the house and getting into many more things than before like the refrigerator. Check out the new pictures we posted on Flicker.

Happy New Year!!

We finally received some snow this week and took Virginia out in her new sled. She was so bundled up she looked like Ralphie's brother in A Christmas Story and could hardly sit up. She wasn't crazy about the snow falling in her face, but maybe next time we go out she will like it more.

Virginia experienced her very first First Night in Wolfeboro. She loved the Mini Circus man and Wayne from Maine who sang lots of songs we even liked. Here we are watching the fireworks down at the town docks.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 2007!

First visit to Santa

Virginia had a big weekend. First she was baby Jesus in the church Christmas pagent followed by her first trip to see Santa. She was really good as she sat in the manger up in front of the church, no crying until the end of the service. Santa was a big hit too. All she wanted to do was pull his beard (I guess to see if he was the real one). Virginia also learned how to clap by herself! I have video and as soon as I learn how to post it I will.

Getting ready for Christmas

Virginia and I visited with Beth and Samuel last Friday for lunch and a little Christmas shopping. Virginia is really into looking at other babies and loved to watch Samuel. The kids were in constant motion during lunch as you can tell by the blurry picture. (It was a wonder that Beth and I actually ate our sandwiches!) Jake, I got a full picture of Beth for you.

I can tell that Virginia wants to talk, she looks like she is trying to mouth some words like Mama (I hope), but sound isn't coming out. I suspect it will be any day that she says her first word. She is also crawling all over the place, pulling herself up on all the furniture and crusing around. She is on the move! The magazines are no match for her.

We found and trimmed our Christmas tree this past weekend. We had a wonderful time with Ali and Jimmy up in the White Mountain National Forest finding our trees. It is a Charlie Brown one, but you can really see the ornaments. Virginia loves the lights and luckily we have plenty of soft ornaments at the bottom.

Kindermusik

Virginia just attended her first class of Kindermusik for the winter term. She loves to listen to the music, have Mommy dance her around, and stare at the other babies. However, her favorite activity involve the balls, shakers, and bells that make lots of noise!
